We were on our way to the highest point in Eastern India, lake Tsangu, in Sikkim. The narrow, winding road was slippery by the incessant rain on the hills. Greeneries were abundant by the hill-side, so were the small springs. Only thing absent was our mood to appreciate the beauty: we were too terrified. The nerve-wracking depth alongside was our constant companion, as if to embrace us at the slightest opportunity...yet there was no way we could have stopped. There were vehicles behind, and there was this rhythm of motion, one just can't stop. The only way was to move forward, even if that meant rounding the steepest curves at a swirl of steering, what if we have lost a few heartbeats in the process...

That was a bit of travel, and a bit of life too... :-)

Welcome to my homepage...probably I have got enough time to put all stupid thoughts together...
